COMPLETE RENOVATION OF AN APARTMENT FROM THE 1940s
Existing buildings are not an obstacle—they are an opportunity. This apartment from the 1940s had been vacant for years, characterized by small, dark rooms and outdated infrastructure. Instead of leaving it unused or demolishing it, we breathed new life into the space. Repurposing vacant properties and revitalizing existing buildings is essential for creating sustainable living spaces.
Resource-efficient construction starts with what already exists—preserving and reimagining the built environment with a forward-thinking approach.
Taking structural integrity and budget constraints into account, we opened up the existing layout as much as possible. The once-segmented rooms now flow seamlessly into one another, creating a bright, open living concept that meets contemporary needs. At the same time, the entire building infrastructure was modernized to ensure energy efficiency and enhance living comfort.
Thanks to precise planning and close coordination, the renovation was successfully completed in just six months.
This project demonstrates that future-oriented living doesn’t mean building new—it means making the most of what is already there.
